WHAT NOT TO DRINK WHEN YOUR’RE ON MENSTRUAL PERIOD

  1. Milk

Dairy products apparently contribute to menstrual cramp. The arachidonic acid content in dairy product is an enemy to menstruation. So, the next time you´re on your period, avoid drinking milk, even the hot one that seems comforting. You can switch to non-dairy alternatives instead.

 

  1. Carbonated drink

The thing about soda is that it can ruin your hormones system during period. it also rips the magnesium in your body which is the cause of menstrual cramps. It is best to limit your carbonated drink intake (even when you´re not on your period!)

 

  1. Alcohol

Alcoholic beverages can relieve the symptoms of menstrual cramps but on the long run, it screws our hormonal system, and make you feel bloated. Since alcohol intake may cause dehydration it eventually worsens the menstruation symptoms.
